Koz

Koz is an artist current living and working in Syracuse, New York. Koz explores her anxieties about the world by using relationships closest to her as her muse for her work. By examining the relationship she has with herself, her parents and her peers, she uses her practice to teach herself how to navigate the world. Her work becomes a therapeutic process by blending reality with what she imagines in her head. Koz graduated from Alfred University in 2020 with her BFA and currently works as a studio assistant for Carrie Mae Weems.
